GONDOLAS FROM ASPEN FOR SALE

A once in a lifetime opportunity to own rare Aspen memorabilia. Each Ski Gondola is one of only 162 operating cabins and comes with its own certificate of authenticity. They have been in operation on Aspen’s Silver Queen lift for the past 19 years and were built in 1986 in Veryins, France by Sigma, a subsidiary of Poma. Each cabin traveled approximately 19,000 miles per ski season for a total of 391,000 miles over the 19 years of operation.

Each Gondola comes with a certificate of authenticity form the Aspen Skiing Company with the number of the cabin recorded and includes a brief history of the cabin and the Silver Queen lift.

Each gondola is sold “as is” and is not returnable. We do not make any representations regarding the condition of the gondola except to say that it is 19 years old and was in operation during the 2005-2006 ski season. It was removed from the Aspen Mountain Silver Queen lift in April.

*The armature that suspends the gondola from the lift cable is not included.

SHIPPING:

Cabins may be picked up locally or shipped. We have arranged with an Aspen based company that will secure your cabin to a pallet and be present for a shipping company to pick it up in the Buttermilk parking lot where it is stored. Shipping cost via UPS will range from $700 and $1100 FOB (depending on US destinations).

PAYMENT METHODS:

Payment may be made by money order, certified check, cashier’s check, PayPal or personal check. (Personal checks will require additional time to clear before the cabin will be released for pickup or shipping.
